Lily Up-date

The vet thinks she just has a sprain. The surgeon is coming in on Thursday and will double check the x-ray. She is on some anti-inflammatory pills and is supposed to lay low. We'll see how that goes. For all of you that know Lily and Luke you know what a challenge that will be for them...... and us:)

We found them curled up in their crate tonight. As you can see they are quite attached, just too sweet!! (Luke on left, Lily on right)

Lily

About 2 weeks ago our sweet Lily came inside crying and limping. She went to the vet and they think she might have torn something in her knee. If that is the case she will need surgery. It is a long recovery time. Two months confined to crate except to go to the bathroom, six months total recovery. She is at the vet right now getting x-rayed. Please keep her in your prayers.

6 Months Old!!

Hello everyone!! Alaina is now 6 months old and cuter than ever!! One of her bottom teeth came in last week, which was totally exciting!! She had rice cereal for the first time today. It went ok, she was unsure of it but did not spit it out. Wish us luck:) She rolls on her side a ton and is almost rolling all the way over. She did roll from her tummy to her back last week. She grabs her feet and reaches out for everything in sight and of course it all goes in the mouth:) She LOVES story time, as you can see!!!

Her doctor appt went great, she is 14 lbs 2.5 oz, head is 17in and she is 26in long now. Her height is in the 60%, weight in the 20% and head in the 86% (lots of brains)!!!

Alaina Meets Grandpa Carl and Auntie Maddie

Here are a ton of pics from my dad's and sister trip to GJ. We had a ton of fun!! We took them to the Colorado Monument, Lincoln Park Pool, Rifle Falls, vineyards, and of course to get the famous Palisade Peaches. Alaina loves her Auntie Maddie!!! We have never seen her smile at someone so much. It was quite cute!

Oh....by the way Alaina was on the 10:00pm news after her first trip to the swimming pool. We are quite proud!!

There is a ton to report on Alaina. She will be 6 months old tomorrow. She has a doctor appt Monday so we will update after that. Stay tuned..............!!

Lake LBJ Texas

We went to lake LBJ which is about an hour outside of Austin. We met Chris's parents, sister, brother and his fiance there. It was a great weekend. We jet skied, went on the boat and just relaxed. The fireworks were great. They were over the lake of the house we stayed in. Believe it or not Alaina slept through the whole hour and 15 min of them. Here are a few pics. My camera acted up so I only have a few.
